When It Rains...

We had been checking the weather every day leading up to this late summer family session, knowing that the rain at that time of year in NY is unpredictable. The forecast showed some signs of rain in the afternoon but our scheduled timed seemed perfectly in between the downpours. We were finishing up our last set of poses when one if the B kids looked up and said "I think its about to pour..." And she was absolutely right. Just as I had taken my last shot and we exchanged goodbyes, the clouds opened up and, well, when it rains...it pours! How's that for perfect timing?!
